Project Objectives:

• House and support up to 100 girls, ages 5-18

• Enroll 100% in school or vocational training

• Provide regular healthcare and psychological support

• Prepare the girls for reintegration or independence by 18
   

Build an orphanage or repurpose an existing facility in Southern India to create a safe, supportive orphanage.

Using an existing facility will cut startup costs by up to 50%, accelerate implementation, minimize waste and environmental impacts, as well as leverages local infrastructure and networks. Although we hope to repurpose an existing facility that has been identified, it is possible that the site will not be amenable to the project. Negotiations are ongoing with Hope Foundation India and will determine whether the best course of action will be to repurpose the existing facility or build a new site.
